Clifton parish celebrates Mass for patron saints, Ss. Cyril & Methodius

The community of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Parish in Clifton celebrated a trilingual Mass — in English, Spanish, and Slovak — in honor of its patron saints on Feb. 11 in the church. Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney was the main celebrant. Cyril and Methodius were two missionaries, brothers from Thessaloniki, who popularized Christianity among the Slavic peoples. Such was their influence that they are now known as the “Apostles to the Slavs.”
