Jefferson Township
Jefferson Township High School and the Department for Persons with Disabilities had a Baskball Fundraiser on January 22, 2015 at the Jefferson Township High School.
The students generously welcomed the residents from the Catholic Charities group homes.
The students from JTHS have given back to DPD in many capacities including an annual food drive, an annual Carnival for Kids Fundraiser and hundreds of hours of volunteer service.
JTHS and DPD had a great event together with Hopatcong High School.
This was the second Annual Event - last year's DUNK for Disabilities Basketball Game was held on January 30th, 2014 at Jefferson Township High School.
This year's game featured rival Boys Varsity Basketball Teams Jefferson against Hopatcong.
In addition to the game itself, there was entertainment including a raffle to take a $10,000 half court shot, student performers, a door prize raffle, a free throw competition and more!
All attendees received a free commemorative t-shirt!
This was a fantastic event!
All proceeds will make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities. Sponsoring the DUNK for Disabilities event is a great way to show your support for JTHS, Hopatcong High School and the Department for Persons with Disabilities.
