Feast of St. Michael

PATERSON  Bishop Kevin Sweeney celebrated Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Church Sept. 27 to honor the parish’s patron, St. Michael, whose feast day is Sept. 29 along with St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, the archangels. St. Michael is known as the guardian of the Catholic Church and he is commonly associated with being the patron saint of police officers, law enforcement personnel, and those who serve in the military.
