Green Pond parish celebrates Thanksgiving with Bishop Sweeney

The faith community of St. Simon the Apostle Parish in the Green Pond neighborhood of Rockaway Township welcomed Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney on Nov. 23 for Thanks­giving Day Mass. Concelebrating the liturgy was Father Richard Bay, St. Simon’s pastor and diocesan minister to senior priests and Father Paul Brezenski, a visiting priest from Baltimore.
