Smart phones have become indispensable items for us all. They are intertwined in our daily lives so much so that we cannot do without them. And just when we think there is something our smart phone can’t help us with — well, as they say, there’s an app for that.
Did you know that there is even an app that shows people how to respond with compassion and hope when encountering a woman in a crisis pregnancy?
It’s called the Life App and it was conceived through a partnership between the Sisters of Life, a community of religious sisters devoted to the protection and sacredness of every human life, and FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.
Considering the fact that more than a million babies are aborted each year in the United States and more than half of all crisis pregnancies occur with college-aged women, this app can and will be a life-saver.
The app is a unique effort to reach women and men in a moment of decision that will mean life or death for the child in the womb.
The Life App can be downloaded for free by searching “The Life App Catholic” in any app store, or by going to focus.org/lovelife.
All of us who are pro-life advocates need to download it and share the Life App — the greater the reach, the more lives of children in the womb will be saved.
