MORRISTOWN Bishop Serratelli made a pastoral visit to St. Margaret of Scotland Church here Sept. 19 and celebrated Mass for the vigil Mass for the 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time. During the Mass, the Bishop blessed doors at St. Margaret’s designated in the diocese as Holy Doors to mark the upcoming Holy Year of Mercy. The Shrine of St. John Paul II at Holy Rosary Parish in Passaic is the other location that will have designated diocesan Holy Doors. These two doors will be opened on Dec. 8 when the Year of Mercy begins. The Bishop also administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to the young people of the parish.
