St. Paul Parish in Clifton commemorates Palm Sunday

PALM SUNDAY MASS  The community of St. Paul Parish in Clifton on March 24 welcomed Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney who celebrated Mass for Palm Sunday. It marks the end of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week, the most sacred week in the Christian calendar. The congregation receives and holds blessed palm branches to mark the day Christ rode into Jerusalem on a donkey as Savior and King on a road covered with palm branches and the cloaks of onlookers.
