Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

On March 25, 2022, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, our Holy Father, Pope Francis, will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  The Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Pierre, has requested that all Bishops of the United States, with their priests, join in communion with the Holy Father in this Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. 

Bishop Sweeney will celebrate the daily Mass in the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist at 12:00 noon. All priests of the diocese are invited to concelebrate Holy Mass with Bishop Sweeney and to publicize this liturgy to their respective communities.

Bishop Sweeney invites all parishes in the diocese to join the Holy Father in prayer on March 25th (at 12 noon, if possible) for this Act of Consecration.
