Bishop visits Convent Station parish

CONVENT STATION  Bishop Serratelli served as main celebrant and homilist of the 11 a.m. Mass on March 4 for the Third Sunday of Lent during a pastoral visit to St. Thomas More Parish here. Concelebrating the Mass was Father Das Choondassery, a weekend assistant at St. Thomas.

The pastoral visit included the Bishop baptizing baby Ellie June Capra during the Mass. Also taking part in the baptism were Ellie’s mother, Allison Capra; her father, Tommy Capra; godmother, Christine LaPosta; and godfather, Joseph Bradley.
