Scaffolding continues to envelop the Cathedral to facilitate the roofing and masonry repairs. Simultaneously, the attic is cleared from debris to facilitate the truss reinforcement repairs.

BCA building envelope consultant inspector approves brownstone retooling mock up and new materials to be installed for replacement of damaged brownstone and slate roof shingles.

When the bell tower attic hatch was opened to access the attic to begin the truss repairs, it was evidently clear that the heavy plaster ceiling was in danger of collapse and needed to be removed immediately.
