The New Year starts in full swing with ceiling, HVAC, electrical,
stained glass window, plaster, and choir loft floor work in progress, simultaneously.

decking and railing diagonal bracing is installed.
Additional scaffolding is installed over the choir loft to access the nave ceiling for demolition.
Ceilings over the choir loft and adjacent side aisles are demolished and
disposed of using the temporary freight elevator.
Sheetrock and plywood are brought in for installation in the nave/side
aisle ceilings and clerestory walls.
Installation of the plywood and sheetrock is completed on the ceilings and clerestory walls.
Carlos Moisa, St. John the Baptist parish project representative, inspects the
progress of the nave ceiling installation of decorative members.
Decorative members are fabricated onsite and installed.
Trusses and plaster walls now accessible due to the scaffolding are inspected by Building Conservation Associates (BCA) and Evergreen Architectural Arts to identify repairs.
Plaster repair mockups are installed by Evergreen Architectural Arts as our BCA consultant observes to make sure the appropiate materials and methods are used.

HVAC ductwork and equipment is delivered and installed.
Plumbing continues in the chapel basement, sanctuary crawl space and sacristy.
