New pastor at Our Lady of Fatima, Passaic

PASSAIC  Bishop Serratelli installed Father Rubin Dario Cortes Castillo as pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Parish here at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on May 29, the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ or Corpus Christi. Father Castillo was born in Colombia and ordained to the priesthood in his native country on Dec. 16, 1995. He was incarnated as a priest of the Paterson Diocese in 2010. His first assignment in the Diocese was at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Father Castillo also served at St. Mary and St. Nicholas parishes, both in Passaic. Last June, he became administrator of Our Lady of Fatima and he was named pastor this past January by Bishop Serratelli.
