Floor framing and footing work are completed as the interior scafolding
begins to accdess the ceiling for demoliton.
Floor joist lumber is delivered.
Floor joists are added to the floor framing to miminize deflection
and avoid marble and porcelain tile cracking.
Electrical conduit is installed for the new sound system.
New plumbing pipes are installed for the new restroom locations.
The new sacristy platform is installed.
The steel bracing is installed to support the new retaining wall in the crawl space.
The column footings are installed after the bearing wall was
removed to enlarge the narthex.
Improperly sized existing choir loft concrete footings are enlarged.
Reinforcing bars are assembled in the north courtyard for installation
in the new concrete foundation footings.
The altar and baldacchino concrete footings are framed and poured.
The baptismal font concrete foundation is framed and poured.
Blessed Mary and St. Joseph shrine foundation is installed.
The decking lumber is delivered after the completion of the infill floor framing.
First layer of plywood decking is completed. Second layer will be installed
after the ceiling is demolished, new ceiling is installed, and the interior
scaffolding removed.
New sanctuary platform is installed.
Interior Scaffolding material in delivered.
Interior scaffolding erection begins.
Steve Minozzi from Monte Brothers, who will install the new sound system,
meets with the architect, Arthur J. Sikula, and the GC for the interior
renovations, Edward Zucchi, to coordinate the project .
