Bishop Sweeney makes pastoral visit to St. Ann Parish in Parsippany

PARSIPPANY Bishop Kevin Sweeney made a pastoral visit to St. Ann Parish here and celebrated the vigil Mass marking the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Concelebrating the Mass was Father Edgar Rivera, St. Ann’s pastor.

St. Ann Parish was designated as a mission in 1982 and raised to parish status in 1983. Since its founding, St. Ann’s has developed a vast network of outreaches to the community-at-large that addresses a wide variety of needs.
