Pastoral visit to St. Cecilia Parish in Rockaway

The renovations at St. Cecilia began earlier in the summer through the generous donations of parishioners and friends of the St. Cecilia community

ROCKAWAY  Bishop Serratelli made a pastoral visit to St. Cecilia Parish here Aug. 14 where he celebrated Mass for the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Mass is currently being celebrated in St. Cecilia Church’s parish hall — Hayes Hall — while renovations are being made to the interior and exterior of the church. The renovations began earlier in the summer and include the floors, exterior doors and interior painting. Renovation work also included the sanctuary and the choir loft.
