Deacon Alan was ordained in 2007. My wife Kitty (Katherine) celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this past August. We have two sons, John and Christopher. John and his wife Elizabeth, have two children, Tim and Kaitlyn. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History from Seton Hall University and two Master's Degrees from Seton Hall, one in History and a second in Theology. I also completed Doctoral studies in History at Catholic University, but did not complete my dissertation.
I am retired from the Montville Township School District, where I served as the District Supervisor of Social Studies and Supervisor of World Languages and ESL. I also taught as an adjunct professor of History at the Count College of Morris and, for the past 10 years, as an adjunct professor of History and Catholic Studies at Seton Hall. At Saint Christopher's, I perform Baptisms and weddings, teach the RCIA program, run the Pre Cana Program and do the Baptismal Preparation Program. I was awarded the Vivere Christus Award in 2017.
