Ivannia Vega-McTighe has had fifteen years of experience in the fields of youth ministry, Hispanic ministry, catechesis, and PreCana. She utilizes this background in her present work as Diocesan coordinator of the Lay Ministry Leadership Formation and Religious Education Endowments. She is currently a doctoral candidate in art history at Rutgers University and has been published in an exhibit catalogue at the Museum of Biblical Art. She believes that sacred art can communicate the Gospel to its viewers and contribute greatly to evangelization.
